À propos de ce produit
Product Information
How our primeval impulses shape our modern lives. From caveman to modern man ... Few people doubt that humans are descended from the apes; fewer still consider, let alone accept, the psychological implications. But in truth, man not only looks, moves and breathes like an ape, he also thinks like one. Sexual drive, survival, competition, aggression - all of our impulses are driven by our human instincts. They explain why a happily married man will fantasize about the pretty, slim, young woman sitting across from him in the tube and why thousands of people spend their week entirely focused on whether their team will win their next crucial match. But how well do our instincts equip us for the twenty-first century? Do they help or hinder us as we deal with large anonymous cities, stressful careers, relationships and the battle of the sexes? In this fascinating book, Robert Winston takes us on a journey deep into the human mind. Along the way he takes a very personal look at the relationship between science and religion and explores those very instincts that make us human.

What you see is what you get. With checkout complete, item securely packaged it was shipped swiftly. It really adds to the “eBay experience”, restoring your faith in people/eBay sellers when you’ve found something you like, and having checked the description, you need more information, or simply clarification on something, you ask the question(s), the seller then responds with a promptly: filling in the gaps.
A very smooth transaction. I would purchase from this seller again. Thank you.

great book, great seller does things at his best, such as sells it very cheap around £3.20 free postages, he listened and responded to all my messages then day later he dispatched item well in good condition to avoid item being torn up or damaged in any form of way. Wrapped well with cello tape inside the envelope, the best with royal mail delivery service.

Used book at a very cheap price was bought with another in a discount deal. They arrived quickly, wrapped in plastic. Unfortunately one. "The Bride of Science" was defaced with a scribbled ink dedication not in the description. On informing the seller, they immediately apologised and issued a full refund. While one book was disappointing, the customer communication and care was EXCELLENT!
