GRIM. DARK.
Grim. Even if you were not looking for a Biblical account, simply wanted entertainment, it is all drama, dark, unhappy. Not many scenes with animals. It also did the story of Noah an huge injustice by adding accounts that never happened and futuristic beings. I was looking forward to how Hollywood would portray all the animal scenes, and some good entertainment, instead all I got was a depressing story. My copy is in a landfill by now.Grim. Not a Biblical Account
This is largely a fairytale version of the story of Noah and the ark. Not what I expected at all. Not a religious movie as far as I am concerned. A lot of magic and walking boulders who had been angels previously... Not sure where the writers got their inspiration.

Nothing about the bible really and just a bizarre film
I am glad we only rented this at the dollar box. It could have been an awesome movie given the graphics available, cast and story. It was a total let-down. Prior to watching I obviously heard that it is WAY different than the bible. But this is crazy different. SPOILER ALERT: They have the angels cast down from heaven being these weird rock creatures called, "The Watchers", and Noah wanting to kill his son's baby if it is a girl, and that there was a person who was not suppose to be on the Ark on it. There was a lot of other weird things thrown in. The three sons were to have wives and be prosperous, this movie portrays only one being married. Even if you try to just look at it as a movie and have nothing to do with the bible at all, it is still a bit weird. Would not ... I am glad we only rented this at the dollar box. Mis-Leading Account of Noah
It's unrealistic with animated stone men that were never mentioned in the Bible. We stopped watching it and threw it away. Don't want anyone else to see this as it is a false hood and never written in the real story of Noah.

Great, if you're looking for an exciting story.
I really enjoyed the special effects. It's a good thing I wasn't counting on a story that would accurately portray the entire Bible rendition.
