Excellent assortment of historical Israel stamps from 1954-57 with dramatic designs with visual appeal, and included the 1956 twelve tribes issue. This rounded out the other assortment for prior and subsequent years I also purchased.

Large stamps In perfect condition including large stamps with wild animals and girls' faces with various hair styles that drew the four year old granddaughter's immediate attention. She also found stamps showing a real Queen (Elizabeth II), from her 60th birthday) and "busy people" she asked about. Perfect stamps for self-paced learning. Always great finds here! Great assortment of stamps from this interesting period when the monetary unit shifted during a period of severe inflation, including the 1957 defense issue and several of the ancient seals issue (also 1957) with tabs, including two wit postmarks. There was also a triangular stamp that was part of the Tabil souvenir sheet with part of a postmark showing its use for postage-- not often seen. Always interesting finds here. AAAAA+++++seller!
