A must see work of art
Ever since I saw the paintings of Vincent van Gogh in Paris many decades ago, I fell in love with his style and vivid colors. The movie gave a look at the man and his life. The actual creation of the movie with the every scene including the characters being hand painted was amazing. It is a true work of art. I loved the movie so much, I have watched it several times. The actual characters in the movie and the actors who portrayed them was spot on. There is nothing about this film I did not like. I will be keeping this video for my special collection to share with friends and family. A stunning, superbly artistic tribute to Van Gogh
I'd give a copy to everyone i know, if i could. I'm not typically into animation, but this video is absolutely awesome. It is mind-blowing, really, to see the care the film makers took to present Van Gogh's story, using his own paintings to create the scenery. I was mesmerized. In fact, I was determined to buy the book and was so disappointed to find that all 100 limited copies are gone. I highly recommend this film.I'd give a copy to everyone i know, if i could. A “hand painted” movie about the worlds best know and least understood painter artists. An ennovative piece of film. Watch it on a large screen. Incorporates more of Vincent’s paintings than I was aware and fills in the spaces between. What a glorious film. A terrific movie for anyone that appreciates Vincent Van Gogh, great art and fine film. Brings the characters and locations of his life, in his life to life to tell his story. Beautiful film unlike anything before
I was fortunate to see this film at a small theater, and it is stunning. The tragic and well known story of Vincent Van Gogh shown in animation as though he had painted the entire thing. The concept is brilliant, and the execution simply beautiful.

Deep walk out to the Stars
A great further portrayal into the life, emotion and death of Vincent. The painted animation speaks beyond the story. Overall, produced with great reverence for the paintings. Though not all found it appealing.
