ST: First Contact 2-Disc DVD Review
I won't belabor the point of how good this movie is. You can read any critical review of the film to glean that information. This DVD release, part of the 2-Disc Special Collectors Edition set that was released the better part of a decade ago, is an excellent addition to any Trek fan's collection. Paramount Studios has a tendency to release blockbuster films in one-disc editions with no special features to speak of. The Star Trek films were no different. Thankfully, the producers put together this series of 2-disc versions that go deep into the making of each film. This release delves into the evolution of the Borg from their early appearances on TNG through the film and on into Voyager. They also have hours of features discussing the making of the film. One final note about this release: ... I won't belabor the point of how good this movie is. You can read any critical review of the film to glean that information. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE MOVIES THAT I NEVER GET TIRED OF WATCHING OVER AND OVER AGAIN. IF YOU ARE A STAR TREK FAN, THEN THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR STAR TREK MOVIE COLLECTION!

Star Trek next Generation at its finest
I knew the story had the movie but didn't know where it was. I bought it again and we watched it when it got there. Fabulous. Anybody that like Star Trek and can stand the Borg you'll love this
