    Cool book on a cool era that we may never see again

    great book that gave me a rare glimpse and insight into these young women who gave their life to the god of rock and roll , was it worth it? only they know the answer but for us fans we can only say thank you

    Definately worth reading!

    I have been a runaways fan since they released their first albun,and I always did feel that they never got a fair shake from the so-called"rock critics". All I expected from this book was the story of a few bad hair days and a couple of band member cat fights,but Cherie Currie really had a rough life,I never would have guessed! Once I started reading this book,I couldn't put it down,I enjoyed the Runaways movie,but the story told here would have made a better film,in my opinion.
