He turned his life around, you can too - Read the Book
“Unlimited Power” by Tony Robbins is a classic “self–help” book which builds on the work of earlier gurus such as Jim Rohn, with his philosophy of planning and action, and Bandler/Grinder with their neuro–linguistic programming, to name just a couple of the more obvious ones. What makes Robbins’ books unique is that it takes the more abstract work of his predecessors and molds it into a more direct, immediate, understandable format. Like Rohn, he found his way to what he does through a circuitous “sales” type of path, while Bandler and Grinder were academics studying the mind and so their work is rather dry. If you have tried to read them or listen to their audio tapes, you know that it can get kind of muddy and hard to follow. Beyond that, it is your straightforward motivational work, albeit a superb example of one. He walks his reader through solutions to the “sales” problems – hurdles of resistance, rejection, overcoming objections, etc, and through the “life” problems – money, discouragement, planning, time management, etc. All–in–all, I found this to be a very well–done book, probably the best book of its type I have ever read. Since it sold millions of copies, you can pick up a good used copy here on ebay for just a few dollars. It is a must–have in any self–help or business library, and if you don’t have such a library, this is a good choice to be the first book in it!

Tony Robbins is incredible
I am a NLP trainer and practitioner and I love the easy way Tony Robbins puts things. He makes it very user friendly and levels with people about truths that he has researched. I am always better for having read or heard his material.
