Not as good as the book
I must confess, when I first started reading the book, ASK AND IT IS GIVEN by Esther and Jerry Hicks, I though I wouldn't like it. I can be as New Agey as the next Baby Boomer, but I thought this might be de trop. Boy, was I wrong. I read the book, applied it's philosophical and behavioral techniques, and my life has been better for it. In addition, I found their CDs, like the Hawaiian Cruise, to be uplifting and wonderfully re-orienting to my world view (available on eBay). So, I ordered the cards. They are pretty, but don't pack the wallop of the book or CDs. Daily Attitude Guidance System
I bought these cards because I found the book to be such a powerful eye-opener; practical exercises for life improvement with the power of the spiritual behind them. At first, I didn't understand how to use these cards. They didn't give me the same instant, up-lifting rush that the book did. (On a personal note, I dislike the type of art used to illustrate the cards, though I love the bright, vivid colors that were used by the illustrator.) But I continued to play with them. I figured it out. Every morning, I pull a card for guidance and have found that they always point to the very heart of the problem I am dealing with at any given time. They are now my attitude guidance system, giving me a heads-up on what I can do personally to bring things into alignment for me. I recommend these ... a condensed version of the book
If you were to take the book, and highlight all your favorite parts, this would be the cards. Having them is a great way to study the lessons of the book, without having to open it and locate each item. I read one each day and take them to work with me also, so I can focus on my studies all day long. Thank you Jerry and Esther.

A great adjunct to the book
I bought the cards because the book that they are take from is absolutely wonderful! The cards are a way of deepening the messages from the book and provide a nice daily meditative tool.
