Dont make mistakes with other brands, you get what you pay for in this product.
So this product is a bit pricey, however after purchasing a different brand that did not live up to expectations, it turns out to be well worth the money. Last one you will ever buy. Sturdy well made. Just be prepared to utilize those curls and fly's you did at the gym. Arm and hand strength is needed. Made swiss cheese of a 530 chain. Yet was delicate enough to rivet a 420 chain.

Brilliant chain breaker design
The PBR is an evolution of the chain breaker/riveter. An exceptional design, the multi-purpose anvil is an innovation. I would like to see a method of "holding" the anvil in the frame, but I'm nit picking. I found mine on sale, and a better chain breaker/ riveter I've never used! Maybe a trail bike version, light and packable can be developed, but the PBR has a spot in my tool box .I work mostly on European sport bikes.The PBR is an evolution of the chain breaker/riveter. Quick and easy chain installs. ...Worth it.
The instructions were easy to understand and the tool made the job quick and easy. For the ease it allows you to change a rivetted chain, it's well worth it. It's a quality tool that appears will last a long time.

A Must have Tool for Installing New Chain and Sprockets.
This is a great, must have tool for breaking the old chain and installing a new one. The case is a nice addition. Appears to be of good quality and easy to use once you read the included instructions.

Good tool.
This tool works great. I had good success the first time I used it. Read the instructions, then watch a video or two, to understand how to use a chain breaker, and what the end result should be. I was able to work to within .005" tolerance on reassembly.
