Definitely a decent product that will Wow! some, and satisfy many others.
Ever since I first entered the world of virtual entertainment gaming, I was always longing for a medieval counterpart to the Call of Duties and Medals of Honor we had in stores. One where you can fight with sword and shield, without sacrificing the realism of modern gaming, as well as the thrill of multi-player. I was excited (naturally) upon learning about this game. I did some research and came up with that Mount and Blade is a game loved by the public, and not so much by the critic. With previous experience of siding with the public, and my friends constant remarks of how captivating the game was, I soon purchased the game. Upon its arrival, the game's thrifty packaging appeared to testify my fears of the game's thrifty and sped-through production (after hearing that the game franchise ... Upon its arrival, the game's thrifty packaging appeared to testify my fears of the game's thrifty and sped-through production (after hearing that the game franchise sprouted from the creations of two Turkish workers). Upon playing the game, my fears were answered interchangeably. The fighting design is simple: an up attack, an up block, a right attack, right block, etc. Simple, yet tricky to master, as the character doesn't smoothly follow your movements (gaining skill points of proficiency is required for that. This, with its horse riding, missile strikes, and various actions through the map (e.g. raising ladders) makes up the fighting of the game. Though really nothing is to complain of this, with games nowadays, more is common to surprise people and uniqueness to satisfy them. The graphics are touchy. The image of the game can be turned to 1900x 1600 or so resolution. That is alright, however the in-game processor is an issue. Unless you have a computer somewhat farther than average, you are banished from the 10x version (This has the true detail and picture of the game). Those without such blessing must use the 7x, where floors are blurred to almost a sole color, and the details gone! I myself have an older but decently strong computer, and I too am stuck with 7x. If you can get over the far-from-Crysis graphics for simpler Oblivion like ones, this wont be an issue. More effort could be spent touching up the single-player mode graphics wise and cosmetic factors. Besides, it contains a decent and intriguing old fashioned RPG swirled in with the famous fighting scenarios. With those following issues, and positive characteristics similarly, I come up with a solid 4 star rating. Work is required to bring the final star, but until then, you are left with a more than moderately executed idea that fundamentally holds great potential, as well as a notable advance in the world of entertainment.

A game to please diehard re-enactors
I decided to buy this item after I saw it in a local games shop from town. I decided that it looked like a really good game to buy and play, but the price was just a tad pricey for what I would have paid. So I went straight to Ebay. And as the Aussie dollar and the US dollar are pretty much neck and neck I bought it from the us at half the price the store was charging. Great bargain I thought. When it arrived in the mail I promptly installed it, learnt the basics and away I went. The ability to go it alone as a knight from Calradia or to command an army really has it going for it. You can command different units with different abilities and weapons. You can completely customise your character with different armour options, weapons, shields, horses and last but not least your own 'Lords ... I decided to buy this item after I saw it in a local games shop from town. You can siege castles, storm cities and plunder villages either in the name for good or bad. You can be vassals for different lords and outsiders. Massive battles of up to 130 players on the map are quite outstanding. Even though graphics and maps are somewhat simple the myriad of quests, tournaments, battles and sieges you can have surely make up for it in fun. Overall I have immensely enjoyed playing this game and has an open end storyline if you follow the right path and leads to many fun hours enjoyed. A must have for anyone who would have loved to have lived in the medieval days of old or if you're a medieval re-enactor. Its a bit like Oblivion though more historically accurate. Wonderful gaming experience.
- I bought this product because I enjoyed the demo version. - I like the great playability of the game and the intense battles. - I do not dislike any thing about this product. - This product far exceeds any other video game. - I would definitely buy this product again.

Great game, and is Excellent
I am overjoyed with this product, it his definately one of my favorites now. I play it daily, and with my friends. I recommend it to all of you who love a mix of rts and rpg/action games.
