Everyone needs to read this book.
I read this book in 1995. It was an eye opening. Being an independent corpsman in the Navy from 1974 to 1982 then reenlisting in 1990 for desert storm, gave me a head start with the language of medical terms. Reading it again is a good refresher course on highly contagious diseases. And what our world is up against now in 2020with this corona virus pandemic. Everyone who wants to know how and why pandemics occur needs to read this book.I read this book in 1995. It was an eye opening. A Deadly Virus, That Is Out There And No One Want's To Feel It's Wrath.
This is one scary book and the made for T.V. movie will freak you out. Be prepared for a ride into the world of viruses with no cure in this novel. It will make you want to purchase a bio-hazard suit afterwards. The book arrived in great condition, and it's one everyone should read.

Phenomenal book
This book was phenomenal. It goes into amazing detail about filoviruses. If you are any interest in ebola, virology, microbiology, or even if you just want a scary true story, then this book is for you. I could hardly put the book down. Talk about a page turner! The writing style is unique in that it moves easily from telling stories about people to hard science, and then to rather pretty descriptions of scenery and little details about the events. Five stars, for sure.This book was phenomenal. It goes into amazing detail about filoviruses. If you are any interest in ebola, virology, microbiology, or even if you just want a scary true story, then this book is for you. I could hardly put the book down. Talk about a page turner! I highly recomend this book based on true stories. It is more horrifying than any horror book could be because it's based on the TRUTH! Read it - it will keep you on the edge of your seat. This is an excelent book that tells the TRUE story of Ebola's transmission around the world. This horrifying disease is highly contagious and kills 90% of the persons infected with it. The book discusses the three types of Ebola and where they have been located. Track the disease with the USAMRIID epidemiologists -where will it break out next? Learn about a level 3 bio-hazard lab and the deadly pathogens the scientist who work with them. The book also covers the outbreak of Ebola-Reston in a monkey house the UNITED STATES! Thrill along with the scientist who identifies a mystery strain as Ebola ... I highly recomend this book based on true stories.
