    Nice and simple---a great help,

    It has useful information tha will help non medical personel understand diabetes. This will in the treatment of diabetics. The rescipes are good--- would have been nice to have more. I am a diabetic of 35 years and a certified medical technologist.

    Lots Of Information, Almost Too Much

    I bought this book on the recommendation of a friend. It addressed both type 1 and type 2. I had just found out I was type 2 diabetic and frankly, some of the information scared me a bit. I do not agree it was easy to understand and felt it went over the top of the average person's ability to understand. It seemed to jump between type 1 & 2 way too often. I read some of it but just couldn't get through it. I found another book, recommended by my doctor, A Week In The Zone Diet by Dr. Barry Sears to be much more helpful and instructive, less technical. What to purchase for easy to make meals. The Dummies recipes, weird.
