    Great Crypto Intro for Kids

    This is an abridged and somewhat simplified edition of Dr. Singh's original "Code Book." I am a retired college professor, and I now visit K-12 schools to talk about STEM, and especially computing. One of the lessons that middle school kids, ages 11-13, really enjoy is cryptography. This edition is accessible for kids that age without being condescending or over-simplified. I try to buy a few copies every year and donate them to school libraries at schools where where I've given the cryptography talk. Today's youngsters would much rather spend five minutes with YouTube than five days with a book. I hope that, by making a book on a subject in which they're interested available easily, I'll lead a few into the art of reading to master a subject.

    Super interesting and well written

    Super interesting and well written, it is concise and informative. Difficult topics like DES/AES etc. explained for layman. History of Codes also very interesting.
