    Lots of good articles on how to build a small workshop.

    This is a collection of articles which originnaly appeared in Fine Woodworking magazine. They were written between 1978 and 1984 (approx) and contain several artocles about setting up a small shop. Some of the authors, such as Tage Frid and Frank Klausz recommend starting with hand tools and a good workbench, while others recommend building a small shop around a particular piece of stationary equipment, such as a table saw. There are several articles on how to build a workbench, from small and simple to elaborate cabinet benches. One article in particular, written by Donald McKinley, has some ingenious wavy of clamping material. There are good articles about tool cabintes, and ways to store tools, lumber, etc. In addition, there are several good articles about shop hazards, such as ...

    Fine Woodworking on the Small Workshop

    My husband was very pleased with the informative book. It showed many examples of how to effectively set up a small workshop. There were several pictures that reinforced the ideas that the book was trying to portray. Gave several very good examples of a properly set-up workshop for the amateur woodworker. There didn't seem to be a "down side" to this book, everything about it was positive. Exactly what we expected and are happy we bought the book.
