    Great walk about lens and much better than the EFS 18-55.

    I have previously reviewed this camera and there are also many other reviews so I'm concentrating on the 17-85 lens. To summarise the camera it's a great workhorse and provides 8.2 MP images in RAW or JPG or both. Classic quality with a few limitations such as screen size and MP count. The 17-85 lens is a beauty. Designed for APS-C sensors it is effectively a 27-135 lens and features great Image Stabilization. Optically it's pretty sharp especially when stopped down to f8. I have taken some Interior shots with this lens handheld at 1/4 sec (17mm setting) and the results were sharp and shake free! In my local bar, some handheld candid at the 85 setting saw a fair success rate at 1/15 sec. Build quality is pretty good and I like the 67mm filter thread too! If your looking for a great ...

    Well worth the price

    It looks great in my collection of old cameras and it works to. You can print a 8x10 picture that will be great to frame. For the price it's a great place to start.

    Great quality and value for the money.

    The Canon 20d can now be bought through eBay for low price. I bought one, then another for a back-up. Quality is truly excellent. Countless whistles and bells. So many modes and options. Makes photos equal to super expensive units. If you can live with small screen, 1.8 inches: that is only negative thought. 8.2 MP is enough for almost any need. What I like best is feeling of luxury, comfort, and high quality. I give it 5 stars! Metal alloy body. Built like bank vault door.
