    Millions Of Cats: could be shorter but good story

    This was another childhood favorite of mine. I've recently rediscovered a number of my favorites as I have to read to girlfriend's son bedtime stories. I now know why my mother would get bored reading this story because it's slightly long for a children's bedtime story - although it would make a great story to read to a group of children and maybe then show them some kittens and let them pick out their favorite or maybe read this to your child before you go pick out a cat from the shelter or pet store - as it teaches that you need to find a n extra special cat not just the first one you see or necessarily the first cute one you see.

    MILLIONS OF CATS

    Who doesn't remember either reading or being read this book when they were kids? It's a classic. I had the phrase "Cats here, cats there, cats and kittens everywhere..." stuck in my head and finally tracked it back to this book. The drawings are exactly as I remember them - black and white and very sweet - especially the kittens. The ending is a little more disturbing to me as an adult than it seemed to be when I was a child. I guess the thought that they end up eating each other seemed pretty normal back then! I had to buy this and share it with my grandsons. It will be interesting to see what the 3rd generation thinks of it!

    One kitty finds a home

    Some parts of the story are sad. One kitten gets a happy ever after.

    Classic Story - Wonderful Illustrations

    This is a very old classic story. I was very happy to find this book. Once you open the book, you will be truly amazed and the illustrations and the writing. We will be presenting this book to the 6 year old for years of enjoyment.
