    More jokes needed.....

    Hey, let's face it-----Willie Nelson is COOL! Really Cool! Also his wit, wisdom & insight [always revealed in his song lyrics] reveal him to be, simply, a good man..... Such a man is not capable of writing a lyric, in this case a book, that isn't worthwhile..... With that said..... This essentially entertaining book suffers from lack of what makes it so good when it is so good-----the jokes...... the song lyrics are, as stated, quite wonderful but this not presented as a nelson song book nor as a 'sketchy' auto biography [I'll have to read his previous one----sounds good] but as a 'tapestry' tied together by the jokes &, in that sense, it suffers from not having enough of them [all fun that are there] & the 'form' more of them would have leant the whole piece..... still, nice to have & ...

    Best Read In A long Time

    This book really gives you some insight to one of the most influential writers of this era. Willie not only tells you his life story but shares his thoughts and feelings with us as he explains many of the inspirations for his songs.I have to admit his jokes make me chuckle and every page brought a genuine smile to my face. This is a songwriters" must have" . I think I have heard it said once before and I will agree" The world would be a lot better off if we all could ride on Willies Bus.

    A GLIMPSE OF WILLIE NELSON

    If you are a Willie Nelson fan and his standing as an American icon, then you will find this book full of wit and insights that further show the true nature of this good man. The editing could have been a little better but is full of wits and interesting things. If you are not a Willie Nelson fan you will still find useful anecdotes and humor.

    THE FACTS OF LIFE BY WILLIE NELSON

    I got this book for my Dad for Christmas and he loved it. He is a big Willie Nelson fan. He said it really had a lot of information and facts about Willie. Lots of good pictures too! I would recommend this book to any Willie fan!

    shows the human fun side of Willie Nelson. Recommend to anyone that just wants a no brainer, laugh at life good read!
