    great read. entertaing and lively. concise

    This is a 75 page story of a knight in shining armor who has lived within for so long he has forgotten the meaning of the reason the armor is worn. When it it is time to shed the armor, he finds that he and the facade he has worn for so long have become one and he has lost all the reasons the armor was worn for so long. He discovers that without the reasons for donning the armor the wearing of the armor becomes useless. This is the story of the journey of the knight rediscovering his life and what is important to him and how he the shell he used to protect himself is now the prison that confines him. It's also the story about the facade we sell to others and at some point we are forced to imprison ourselves within the truths we falsely believe. Once we have lived it so long, it ...

    The Knight in Rusty Armor

    A good friend of mine recommended this book...they had just been in a wonderful retreat center for adult victims of childhood abuse. It a short read, written in fairy tale format that tells of the difficulties of one particular knight who needs a bit more insight. It helps us to understand how we all have habitual interpersonal "armor" that may not be working for us anymore. We have a choice of looking at ourselves, understanding why we do what we do...and then making a change...or, become more and more isolated and unhappy. Simple but true...perhaps good for teens as well.

    condition of the book was great. used but well taken care of. thank you my therapist recommended me this one. i’m on the 2nd to last chapter and i can see why.
