Hawaiian quilts, dating back to the influence of nineteenth-century missionaries, are more than objects of practical necessity. A form of artistic expression, they beautifully reflect not only the spirit of a people but their culture and environment as well.     Everything You Need To Know About Hawaiian Quilting

    This vintage books provides a brief history of Hawaiian quilting It includes full sized patterns and assembly techniques. I paid about a dollar for this fabulous find, so I would rate it a great bargain.

    How to make an Hawaiian quilt-if you never have before

    I saw the book in a quilt shop and someone else bought the last copy. I went out on eBay to find one and ta-da SUCCESS! Just the book I wanted - Thanks! This is a beginner-intermediate book on Hawaiian quilting techniques and is written in clear and descriptive language. The illustrations are accurate and 'descriptive'. This is very helpful for the project I want to undertake.
