Apt and fitting.
First volume of a trilogy on TR. I find this polymath person and later president most engaging. Well researched and presented.

Could Not Put It Down!
This book is about 800-900 pages of small type and looked a little too much like a college textbook. To my surprise, it read as easily as a good novel. The focus is on the years prior to Roosevelt’s presidency. As an admirer of Theodore Roosevelt, I was not surprised that this story showcased the strength of his personality, but the information concerning the courtship of his first wife, his grief upon her death, and his subsequent love for and marriage to a childhood friend was quite touching. The sections on his experiences in the Dakota Badlands are also great reading!This book is about 800-900 pages of small type and looked a little too much like a college textbook.
