    Wine From Grape To Glass, by Jens Priewe (2006)

    A wonderfully thorough, well-organized book that clearly illuminates every facet of wine production - truely from grape to glass. Mr. Priewe describes growing and harvesting grapes, and fermenting wine; but also gives useful information relative to specific wine regions aroung the globe - a macro-view and a micro-view. Moreover, Mr. Priewe manages to present rather dry statistics and figures in a manner that doesn't make one's eyes glaze over. This book provides a wide enough base of information to make it cogent to neophytes as well as seasoned oenophiles - there's something here for everyone.
