Smart, fun, and easy to like
For people who like ice skating, especially couples figure skating, this is an enjoyable movie. For people who enjoy romantic comedies with good writing, funny verbal repartee between the couple, and if you enjoy watching the relationship between the characters developing, then you will enjoy this movie. It's funny and well written. Moira Kelly and D.B. Sweeney as the lead actors are very good. The chemistry between them is believable. The supportive actors are also very good. This is one of my favorite movies to watch when i want to view a well-written, rom-com. For people who like ice skating, especially couples figure skating, this is an enjoyable movie. A MOVIE IN REGULAR ROTATION ON MY DVD PLAYER
Okay, so its a bit goofy and predictible, but its a great film and always makes me feel better about the world. Its a mood movie... when you're in the mood to watch figure skating. Kick ass attitude, and shapely bodies float across the screen. Its a movie for when you want to feel the cold of your own breath in the air. I'm always drawn into the characters. Witty reparte and heck, just a good time. A bit of the look of the late 1980s, but hey... all that will eventually come back into style. Watch it. I probably do at least once a year. Amazing endurance and ability!
Have always enjoyed watching the performances of the ice skaters and their unique abilities displayed. Good movie with great acting ability shown well!

This is a great movie!
I bought the movie, The Cutting Edge, because I had borrowed the movie from our local library and liked it so well that I wanted to have my own copy to view again and again. I really like the way that the two skaters learn to work together and the way they learn to overcome their individual problems. The two humble themselves and become a dynamic team together as they overcome obstacles that stand in their way. For me, any movie with sexual overtones is unnecessary, I prefer good clean movies that leave you feeling clean when you have finished. So, that being said, that would be my one dislike. Classic and hard to stream
12 year old me loved this movie and I wanted to watch it the other day and couldn't stream anywhere. Bought this copy and after some USPS trouble it arrived. Fantastic silly classic
