Product Information

Shortly after making its debut on the Dreamcast, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing hit the PlayStation. You control or fight against Afro Thunder, a big-haired boxer with flair to spare; Salua, a former Sumo wrestler with a big appetite; or one of 14 other boxers. Each contestant has a number of standard and unique boxing moves along with a special signature move, such as a Bow & Arrow, a Cruise Missile, or a Triple Upper. Standard moves include body shots, high and low punches, swaying, ducking, dodging, hooks, uppercuts, and overheads. Also, boxers can taunt other boxers. Your main goal in the Championship mode of play is to train three boxers to become champions. Training involves speed bag and heavy bag workouts, weight lifting, Rumble aerobics training, and other strenuous forms of boxing exercise. You will fight for money in order to build a gym and purchase better training equipment, bet on your fighter to increase the stakes, and enter Title Fights to move up in the rankings. Also, Exhibition Fights can be fought between your saved fighter and another gamer's saved boxer. You can even trade your saved fighters! In the Arcade mode of play, you can play the game by yourself or against a friend. When playing alone, you duke it out with computer-controlled boxers in an attempt to progress up the ranks of Bronze, Silver, and Gold. In either mode of play, boxers can perform a "Rumble Flurry." Letters are awarded to a fighter when he or she has inflicted a certain amount of damage on his or her opponent. When "Rumble" is spelled out and the player hits L1 and R1 simultaneously, the Rumble Mode kicks into gear. Michael Buffer gets the action in Ready 2 Rumble Boxing underway with his famous "LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!" battle cry. Each match is viewed from a number of adjustable camera angles: normal, rotate about players, ringside view, rotate about ring, first-person player 1, and first-person player 2.

Ready 2 rumble boxing goofy fun
I first played this on the Dreamcast back when it was new the graphics and gameplay were awesome. I have not played it on ps1 till now. This is not Mike Tyson's punch out with the 3rd person view. It is easy to play and the other fictional boxers are funny with their own personalities. The rumble power meter really balances things out because you can use it twice before the rumble power fades. You can unlock new boxers after beating arcade mode and train your boxer. Old school fun
When it came out it was a classic immediately and still is fun to play. If you have a PlayStation 1or are getting one buy this game to go with it.

Let's get it on!!
I love this game! I can sit for hours playing this title - especiall in championship mode. In that mode you get to fight prize fights for cash, that you then use to train your boxer and improve his skills. It's loads of fun, especially when you build all the fighter's skill levels to 100%. Noone on the game can touch you! I only wish you could do a two player game in the championship mode. That would be really happening!!I love this game! great piece of paper
I really like this great piece of paper. The add was a bit unclear as to what i was actually getting after i received my item i went back an again read the add sure enuff i got just what the add described a nice piece of paper. I luv my paper it clear and free of any smuges or smells if you need a pice of paper i highly recomend you order your copy of the game---- paper you want today. I will definitly be reading and studing the adds more carefully.Again thanks 4 a great piece of paper! I will keep it in the bathroom in case needed.I really like this great piece of paper.
