Great for animation lovers
I've always loved Disney's gorgeous animation. This book gives an inside look on the principles of animation, examples of said principles, and how they came to be through years or trial and error. Makes me want to become an animator!

Amazing Book
Brad Bird, writer and director of The Incredibles and Iron Giant, calls this book "the Bible of animation. Everyone needs to own one and READ IT!" I totally agree. If you're wanting to learn about animation, this is the best book I've ever seen. It tells everything about the Disney process from character creation to conveying emotion with every move of the body. Excellent read, excellent pictures. I got this for my son for his graphics arts class; he loves it. The illustrations are vivid and the accompanying text is great. He plans to keep this one.

I bought this book for my son who is a student in Fine Arts. He requested this book as a Christmas present. When I opened the box I was surprised to see how well the book was packaged. There wasn't a scratch on it, and it was in perfect condition. The colors of the illustrations are fantastic, and it depicts the artistry and magnificance of famous Disney illustrators. The attention to detail is unbelievable, the pictures literally jump off the pages.
