great impact wrench for average mechanic work
Saved approx. $50.00, on eBay, great deal for this tool, their good quality tools. I like DeWalt tools because they seem to be able to take a lot of punishment, also I was able to remove 30 year old rusted lug nuts from a 57 Chevy truck with no problem. Remember! the stronger the battery, the stronger the tool, many video critics of this tool say it's not strong, but then I notice that their batteries are low amp hour, at 5 ah and above this tool rocks!Saved approx. $50.00, on eBay, great deal for this tool, their good quality tools. DEWALT DCF890B 20V 20 Volt MAX XR 3/8 in. Brushless Compact Impact Wrench
I have been on the DeWalt Platform for many years, DeWalt has served me well in many of their products, But for me, I think DeWalt is messing up in marketing in my point of view. I have used their 18 Volt line-up going on 15 + Years. You didn't have X - Amp-Hr Batteries, you had 18 volt and 12 volt. Now Givin they were a little heavy, There were and still are rock-solid unit's. I don't know if DeWalt is trying to keep up with other competitors with the number of this and that's of almost the same product or products. I was thought from a young age if it wasn't broke don't fix it. I look at it this way. Build the Best product's in one line and not have so many different lines of the same product. Keep the 20 Volt XR and make the 12 volt an XR Line, and that's that. I do Like the Li-ion ... Surprising power for a small package
I was skeptical about buying this 3/8" impact thinking that it wouldn't have enough power for the type of weekend car repair I do. After watching a few videos and reading some reviews, I decided to go ahead with the purchase. I thought using it would drain my smaller Dewalt battery quickly but I've been pleasantly surprised. It's not a tool I use every day though it's nice to have when I need it - it's a great time saver.I was skeptical about buying this 3/8" impact thinking that it wouldn't have enough power for the type of weekend car repair I do. After watching a few videos and reading some reviews, I decided to go ahead with the purchase. I thought using it would drain my smaller Dewalt battery quickly but I've been pleasantly surprised. It's not a tool I use every day though it's nice to have when I need it - it's a great time saver.

Its a Dewalt... Lots of power and super light...!
Basically great for any job requiring more power and torque than a 1/4 inch impact, but not as much as the1/2 inch 700 ft pound big boy...! Check out some of the tester videos on YouTube...!
