Item was listed as "Super Geared" when in fact it had standard Athearn gearing. Seller claimed it was sold "as-is" and refused to offer any compensation. I have over 70 years model railroading experience and I have personally installed "Super Gearing" kits from Ernst in several of my locomotives. I felt he misrepresented the item. Theses gears are not visible from the outside, they live inside the gearboxes, so there was no way for me to determine beforehand whether or not this was true.

Well packaged and arrived on time without damage. The item was exactly as photographed. The item title and description were incorrect and listed "Athearn HO Scale Pennsylvania 34' Rib Side Hopper Kit 5442" when it actually was Athearn HO New York Central 34' Rib Side Hopper Kit 5443. Either one was acceptable, and the item I received was the New York Central hopper car shown in the photographs.

Lots of fun!
This set is great, the best part to us is the light up fireplace, It really makes the set. Lots of accessories and mini figs as well. The only thing I wish they did was add a piece to the bottom where the two parts of the house meet to make it a bit more sturdy like the top part. Overall a great set and addition to any HP lego world.

Great set from LEGO - knocked it out of the park with another Harry Potter series set! LEGO Hagrid’s Hut: Buckbeak’s Rescue is just the right challenge my teen and pre-teen who will focus for hours on completing their Lego sets. Building is learning and and growing! The Lego pieces and colors are well-designed, the directions easy to follow.

Super accurate, super fun, super cute!
My fiancé and I built this kit while watching Prisoner of Azkaban and LEGO really got this one right! Very detailed and so many fun little accessories. Building this set was extremely entertaining!

Hagrid to the rescue
This was the Father's Day gift that my husband received this year. The set came in less than 5 days and a month before it was needed. My husband loved it and has already assembled it. All parts were included and in working order. What a perfect gift for our Hagrid of the house.

I understand I should have inspected the product better upon arrival, and that is 100% my fault. BUT. I saved this for my son for Christmas or his birthday (February). It ended up working for his birthday. We just opened it and not only are ALL of the mini figs gone, some of the pieces for the hut are gone too as the bags were opened and LEFT OPEN. The box was sealed when received, but whatever was used to reseal it had come undone by the time his birthday rolled around. LEGO is expensive. The aftermarket LEGO industry is huge. I’m trying to be sustainable in my purchasing of aftermarket LEGO sets and will willingly buy used sets, knowing I need to buy additional pieces.
