  • Got Even Better With Age

Ribbit King was one of my favorite games back in the early 2000s, and it certainly has not lost its charm. Although now, I can truly appreciate the details and work that went into creating this game. The graphics are pretty cartoonish, but the way the water and backgrounds are detail show that this was a stylistic choice and not a necessity. The gameplay is relatively challenging, the story mode taking hours to complete, and with different combinations of items and frogs, the player will find themselves entertained for the entirety of the game. Even though there are only five planets to play on, the location of the start and end point change, so the player must devise different strategies. All in all, the game was well worth the money spent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who ...

  • RibbitKing

This was a very fun game to play it's like a golf game, but you're using a frog as the ball and there's lots of bonus scores along the course that you can get along the way. There's bubbles, water, an elephant, spiderwebs, trampoline, lava, and other things although each course is different you still have the same kinds of objects that help you to get points. It's pretty easy to master hitting the frog just use your control stick to direct where you're landing and that's it. But to get the points you might want to get the bubbles filled with points and try to land near the question mark area. Since this is also multiplayer makes the game more enjoyable if you can play with a friend or more it has up to 4 players to enjoy with. I really liked this game and rate it a 5 out of 5 stars.

  • This game is not for kids!

Listen, this game is not for kids. Send your kids outside or to bed or something and play it yourself. I know it looks cartoony. I know the judge is a little gender-challenged. I know the king is a whiner. Get over it. The game brings skill, luck, and a whole lot of fun together in a wonderful way, regardless if you are that happy 10 year old or that rude tatoo'd teenager. Even our grumpy super serious me-play-a-video-game-you've-got-to-be-kidding 40+ friends loved it. You play golf with frogs. You use a teeter-totter looking thing and a mallet, to fling the frogs towards the hole. Along the way the frogs get distracted by flies, scared of elephants, chomped by snakes, and bounced by spiderwebs. It's easy, anyone can do it, it's funny even when you're losing. This is one of the ...

  • When factoring in price, A+. A must have multiplayer game. Also good solo.

Okay, this is not the best game ever made. BUT, when you take into account that its old, doesn't cost much, and has a very cheap look to it that makes you think they targeted this game at parents and kids who go for bargain buys, then you realize this game is a cheap treasure that's well worth the visit. A quirky game of frog-golf, called frolf, is the center focus of this game. Being more point centered (in levels with points abound), this game is golf for those that don't like the boringness of golf. With cute characters, a plot that wont make you cringe, and multiplayer that is genuinely great, this game is me and my friends go to game for multiplayer right now. While maybe pure-"hardcore" gamers may find the game too glitchy or random to enjoy, most people will enjoy the simple and ...

  • Great fun for the WHOLE family!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this game. It is so old school, but super simple to play. My 6 year old son and I play ALL the time. It entertaining, fun, and quick to get through. The only thing I didn't like is that I had to purchase a GameCube controller and memory card in order to play. But it was worth the extra 20 bucks I had to put out.
