Product Information

Wii duffers get another chance to spoil a good walk in Super Swing Golf: Season 2. The cartoonish take on golf, similar to Sony's Hot Shots series, once again makes use of the Wii Remote to let players replicate their real-life swings, ideally without the slice. The game features a few added courses, new multiplayer party modes like Darts and Driving Contest, and a new tour mode that lets players compete with rivals and move toward conquering the entire island of Pangya. Gamers will be able to play with their favorite characters from the original Super Swing Golf, and a number of new costumes can be unlocked, including outfits from other classic Tecmo characters.

    Super Swing Golf:Season 2- Golf With Feeling

    Like other Wii golf games, it's Japanese, and like other Japanese sports games, there has to be a story line with lots of emotion. The swing setup is different from every other Wii golf game I've ever played, so it's kind of confusing. But aside from those things, the price was pretty good...and it doesn't take that long to learn how to swing. The only drawback is you can't throw your clubs when you duff a shot, but that's why we play REAL golf! Right? Makes you wonder; what is a round of golf like in Japan? Are you supposed to cry and wail if you have a particularly high score? Are there babes that cheer for only you? Are there costume changes? Worth investigation I'm thinking...

    Great game for a great price!

    My wife and I have enjoyed this game immensely. Of all of the golf games available for the Wii this is (in my opinion) by far the most fun! The fantasy theme really makes you want to play golf. A players status is effected by every piece of their clothing and equipment and you can play as so many interesting characters. There is a story mode that is a lot of fun to follow. You can also play more "arcade style" with the same character you are using in story mode to gain "lottery tickets" to win additional items. The putting is very well thought out and has far less "random" factors that make putting in other golf Wii games so annoying. Super Swing Golf: Season 2 has endless replay value. Another thing I love - you can pick it up, play it for 15 minutes on lunch, and walk away very easily. ...

    If your looking for Wii Sports Golf, This is Not It.

    I bought this game because we were wishing Wii Sport Golf had more courses. I will warn you that the Swing Mechanic is NOTHING like Wii Sports Golf. This is not to say it is not good. Once you get used to the Alternate and More Complex Swing Mechanics it is pretty good. Unfortunately at the End of the Day I still wish it played like Wii Sports Golf. If any of the Third Party Developers were trying to figure out how to make some money, Well it is quite simple. Make a copy of Wii Sports Golf using Mii's and add a bunch of courses to it and make the Swing Mechanics the Same as Wii Sports Golf.

    enjoyable golf

    Beofre this golf game I had only played the golf game that comes with the wii. I liked playing the wii sports golf, but got really bored with the same nine holes over and over. Super Swing has really held my interest with more courses and different holes then any golf game I've ever played(I haven't played many). I was originally turned off by the cartoon like characters but they have grown on me. I haven't tried the multiplayer options yet so I can't comment on those, but I can only imagine that they will be a lot of fun with a group of people. This is a enjoyable game that I am glad I purchased.

    If it's cheap then go for it!

    The games made by other companies than Nintendo can never compare. This is an ok game but it is hard and the swings don't really match up. We've resulted in using the Wii controller sideways instead of using the motion part and it works well like that but I was really hoping to get into the game in a more realistic way. I bought it used and at a very good price so I would recommend it if you want something cute and different.
