Synopsis
DANICA SHARDAE IS an avian shapeshifter, and the golden hawk' s form in which she takes to the sky is as natural to her as the human one that graces her on land. The only thing more familiar to her is war: It has raged between her people and the serpiente for so long, no one can remember how the fighting began. As heir to the avian throne, she' ll do anything in her power to stop this war-- even accept Zane Cobriana, the terrifying leader of her kind' s greatest enemy, as her pair bond and make the two royal families one. Trust. It is all Zane asks of Danica-- and all they ask of their people-- but it may be more than she can give. Just received the book I ordered – way ahead of estimated delivery time – in a perfectly brand new and undamaged condition (as described). It was also shrink-wrapped, which was a nice surprise, but I would've appreciated it more if it'd also arrived in a box rather than a bag (as I live in a whole other continent), but it didn't sustain any damage, so it's all right. Great seller; highly recommended; will definitely shop from again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheers.

Fast shipping to Hawaii. Professionally packaged. Quality better than advertised. Price was very reasonable relative to the value of the item. There was a bit of a mix-up on shipping method & price. Seller dealt with the issue in a fast & friendly manner. Highly recommend this seller!

Item was as described, nicely packaged. I'm disappointed that I paid extra for USPS Priority Mail as offered by the seller, but it was shipped Ground Advantage. I still got it in time to deliver as a present so there's that. I would buy from this seller again but I would not pay the hefty upcharge for quicker shipping. AA

Danica is the last surviving heir to her people's throne. As an Avian shapeshifter, she has the ability to transform into a golden hawk. Her people have been at war with the Serpiente for as long as anyone can remember. Their leader is Zane Cobriana, who, like his people, can take the form of a cobra. In a desperate effort to make peace, Zane and Danica decide to wed, creating a political marriage between their tribes. The problem up front is that neither one can stand the other. To make the peace survive, Danica and Zane must address the dissenters who will do what it takes to destroy this union and they must also learn to trust each other and in time, maybe love. The book is probably more for teens, but the writing is very good and you would not guess that the young woman who wrote it ...
