GLEE IS GREAT!!!
I have not been entertained this well by a TV show in a long time. In the very beginning, I had to get over the hurdle of the characters and show being somewhat stylized. But it turned out to be a minor hurdle and became part of the "cuteness" of the show. I've seen each episode multiple times because I've been showing them to classes. Yet, I am always catching some small bit that I've missed previously. Watching the musical performances has been terrific. The music has gotten more interesting as the show progresses. (It has to be this way for the plot to work.) The way the pieces are woven into and contribute to the story line is great. The plot/characters...just everything, really has steadily improved. There is no question that all these shows are great ... I have not been entertained this well by a TV show in a long time. A Rough Start
After finishing the entire series of 24, I'm back watching it from Day 1 again. The first season was hard to watch, only because the feeling of desperation is felt throughout the entire season, from about 3 minutes into the first episode. It's akin to plunging deep underwater and struggling to make the surface before you drown. The season drags, intentionally, to keep you waiting and hoping for a satisfactory resolution. Force yourself to watch it in its entirety, because this lays a very necessary groundwork for the rest of the series. Beginning with Day 2, Keifer Sutherland puts his foot on the gas and drops it down into overdrive, much of which you will not understand without the foundation known as Day 1. Put the kids to bed and if your spouse is going to watch with you, make sure to lay down some ground rules in regards to interruptions. Focus is key to truly appreciating this season as well as the rest. Then try not to walk around imagining you're Jack Bauer...

24 is one of the best TV shows on the planet. What i like about this show is the real time part of it and how it's set all in one day. Kifer Sutherland plays Jack Bauer and is the leading man on the show plus he is the unluckiest man on the planet Kifer Sutherland has go to be one of the best actors i have seen and i have seen all of them. Once you star to watch 24 you don't stop watching.24 is one of the best TV shows on the planet. What i like about this show is the real time part of it and how it's set all in one day. 24 Hours On The Edge of Your Seat!
Every once in a while, a show comes along that can keep you on the edge of your seat from the moment the opening credits start to roll to the cliff hanger of an ending. 24 is one of those shows. First of all, the whole concept of a "real-time" show makes for a very interesting concept. It just goes to show what can happen in 24 hours time. I can't think of a bad point to this show. The interwoven story line is well written and portrayed and the plot twists will keep you on the edge of your seat. Fabulous, engaging series.
We couldn't watch week to week, we waited until the season was over and then had a 24 marathon. We all loved it. The hour by hour really drew us in.
