Adorable tale!
This story is just so cute, and I always have loved Winnie the Pooh, but I had never had the chance to read it! Well, I finally found the time, and ordered this book. Let me tell you, the fact that it is the size of my high school bio textbook but three inches thick instead of one is daunting, but I fell into the story quickly and just loved following Christopher Robin through all him and his friends adventures.This story is just so cute, and I always have loved Winnie the Pooh, but I had never had the chance to read it! Well, I finally found the time, and ordered this book. Love Winnie-the-Pooh and this collection is great!
I have been a fan of Winnie-the-Pooh since I was a little girl. I'm now 59 and I'm still in awe of his simple approach to life's events. I bought this book for an art project. I chose the most colorful illustrations along with the best quotes to make a collage. I painted a large canvas black and then I painted a large cloud in the center. I decoupaged the pictures in the cloud and painted a cute WTP quote above the cloud. I stenciled stars and moons in yellow. Then I sealed it with sparkly Mod Podge. I used a rusty star garland to hang it with. What an adorable art piece I ended up with. I hung it on the wall in the room where my grandsons will sleep when they visit.I have been a fan of Winnie-the-Pooh since I was a little girl. Beautiful book!
Classic Winnie-the-Pooh with color illustrations, my son looked through it and said, "wow, there's as many pictures as there are words!" We are enjoying it. Included are some extra children's stories unrelated to Pooh but were just as delightful, and the poems are just so lovely and classic!

It has four parts: 'Winnie-the-Pooh' and 'The House at Pooh Corner' contain stories about Pooh's adventures; ' When We Were Very Young' and 'Now We Are Six' are collections of age appropriate poems, most starring Pooh and Christopher Robin. In total this edition has 567 pages! Highly recommended for new parents for reading to children. However, this is rather bulky for younger children to read by themselves. Perfect baby shower gift!
The tales of a bear named Pooh was one of my son's favorite books. It was read to him often. This particular edition is heavy and sturdy and feels substantial in one's hand. I buy these books for baby-shower gifts and give them out regularly. This is three books put together: Winnie-the-Pooh, The House at Pooh Corner,and When We Were Very Young and Now We Are Six. These stories include the Blustery Day, The Little Black Rain Cloud, Tigger, Heffalumps, Eyore, Kanga and Roo and much more.
