More than just a stand-up comic, Jeff Dunham is a one-man comedy troupe--a ring-leader in a circus of snark. The veteran ventriloquist may be the only one with vocal chords, but he’s often the least vocal, playing straight man to a steam trunk of personalities: Achmed the Dead Terrorist, a goofball skeleton still fighting the infidels; Peanut, an odd purple creature with a fast mouth; Jose Jalapeńo, a smooth-talking pepper on a stick; Bubba J, NASCAR’s biggest fan; and Walter, a dirty old man who speaks his mind. Together with his hilarious and irreverent puppets, Dunham riffs on everything from politics to family life, and slays the audience with his quick-witted banter. SPARK OF INSANITY features one of Dunham’s funniest performances, recorded live at Washington D.C.’s Warner Theater.

    Pretty accurate title from a comical point of view!

    Adult humor and real experiences brought to the stage you can relate with is what this guy and his puppet buddies will deliver to you! I was told about this guy by a friend who said that Jeff was great. I said "You actually watch a guy that makes a living with dolls and talks to himself?" He replied, "You will understand, just watch this!" So I sat down, started to watch this man and within a few minutes I was hooked on Jeff Dunham's stand-up act and then and all his buddies who just come to life right before your eyes! Jeff Dunham is without a doubt one very talented individual. He actually builds, from scratch, some of the "Buddies" he uses in his show, and they are a hoot!!!     Adult Puppet Comedy

    Jeff Dunham's unique comic genius and superb talent as a ventriloquist is showcased in this video. The multiple puppets take on a life of their own with their distinct, engaging personalities. The fast-paced dialogue between puppet and puppeteer (not to mention, puppet and puppet dialogue and puppet, puppet and puppeteer dialogue!) makes this video easily enjoyed again and again. This video contains adult content including, but not limited to, references to homosexuality, terrorism and illegal immigration. Contains occassional off-color language. I saw this several times within weeks and decided to buy it for our own collection. I am usually conservative in my viewing choices while my husband is the opposite, but we've both enjoyed this video again and again.

    Jeff Dunham Is a HILARIOUS, Edgy, Multi-Faceted Comic!

    It's not hard to see why Jeff Dunham took the number one spot in Comedy Central's Stand-Up Showdown in January 2008 with this album! Just like his other DVD, Arguing with Myself, he puts the comedic pedal to the metal and never lets up. From his initial stand-up routine; to his new ventriloquist dummies, Achmed the Dead Terrorist and Melvin the Superhero; to Walter, Jose the Jalapeno, and Peanut; this is a total, laugh-out-loud performance worth owning. Dunham excels at using his "friends" to put across edgy material with a twist. Achmed the Dead Terrorist gives him a voice about terrorism that is unique.     Another "Best" by Jeff

    I own several if not all of Jeff's DVD's. My favorite character is Walter follow closely by Peanut. Unlike some performers Jeff goes non-stop for the entire time. With each new DVD Jeff just keeps getting better and better. I found out about Jeff through a friend of my wife's. They were talking while Jeff was on Comedy Central. Her friend told my wife to check it out. We have been fans ever since. One of the things that I like is that on one of his DVD you can select "Blip" or No Blip." I wish he would do that for all of his shows. But if your sense of humor is a little offbeat, you will really enjoy him. One of the special features recently was Jeff showed the steps it takes from thinking about a new character all the way to the actually creation process. I really found that interesting. ...

    Spark of non-stop laughter!!

    Jeff Dunham and his five crazy, out of this world set of friends, prove their valor again in this hilarious stand-up comedy special. Jeff starts off his special with his puppet Walter, an opinionated, and sarcastic old man, who, is not afraid or ashamed to speak his mind. His "I don't give a damn" attitude says it all. Jeff then introduces a new puppet, Achmed the dead terrorist. Achmed was a suicide bomber, who, sucessfully blew himself up, but that was it. With his twisted sense of humor, he fits right in with the rest of the gang. Jeff then brings out Melvin the superhero. Melvin nose, I mean knows no fear.
