    Good enough to make you foreget the first one.

    Yes it has a lot of blood and gour but that's the nature of the beast if you can get by that it's a good example of this sort of movie. Good 3D and non stop action as well as decent character development makes this a movie worth watching for me and for what I paid for it a real bargain. The audio paeformance was excellent and the bad guys all got what was coming to them. What's not to like if this is your cup of tea. Worked for me.

    Shockingly Well Done and Outstanding; worth the purchase!

    If Dirty Harry had a a family line his future relatives would have to come from the Dredd family! This story engrossed me with it's simplicity and action. Granted if you're not into violent action with guns-a-blazing this movie isn't for you (wouldn't recommend it for young children) but this makes the Sly Stallone debacle look even worse. I wish it had done better in the theaters so a second movie would be already ramped up but we can only hope. The lead was played by Karl Urban who was outstanding, especially with the signature frown Dredd has in the comics. The acting by his sidekick was well done as she showed herself to be the "rookie," she portrayed and the villain was outstandingly played as well. Overall, I was happily no stunned at how good it turned ...

    What Dredd fans needed!

    I have long loathed Stallone's incarnation of Judge Dredd. Carl Urban does an excellent job of playing true to the comic book character. The setting, supporting actors, and plot all hold up really well in what can only be described as a gem.

    Great action movie

    Great addition to the the Dredd movies and Karl Urban is great. Simple story but truly excellent action throughout the film.

    Dredd is here finally.

    Dredd is very underrated action film. Close to the source material and far from it's 90s film. It's visually appealing and well rounded , no needless subplots or Easter eggs hinting towards a sequel. It's a stand alone good movie .
