The 48 Laws of Power - Applying to the Corporate World
So many lessons to learn from this book. I have applied it to my profession and have increased much of my personal goals. It has given me guidance on how to succeed quickly and wisely without damaging my reputation or stature. It has given me guidance on a slow methodical approach to achieve vindication against those who are in my way. I have used it against my adversaries and it has gained me the upper hand on most occassions. I have used tactics towards my competitor and I have gained higher ground. In layman's terms: It's a very powerful book that can get you in trouble if not used with caution. It was recommended to me by one of my mentors and it has helped me through out my career. Once I read the contents and the preface - I was hooked to learn more. I even purchased the book for my ... So many lessons to learn from this book. I didn't abide to all 48 laws - I pick and chose wisely and followed my gut instincts. 48 Laws is a good read and I still reference it once a month. Wow Amazingingly Powerful!!!!!
Man, was this book an awesome book to stumble across. So much valuable and useful information to apply to my life experiences present and past. I have applied a little of it's strategies and POV's to my workplace. It worked but also backfired in one situation. I am more careful on how I use this knowledge now so I believe by most of it's content. Use with much caution but info is good to know!!!!! I really think you will enjoy this book - I couldn't put it down until I finished it.Man, was this book an awesome book to stumble across. Great Tool.
If you want to see beyond the surface this is a EXCELLENT tool, especially for self education. I am so glad I made the investment, thank you. They give you proven historical facs that explain the theories and objectives of the content, very concise and useful for everyday use.

Enlightenment for the Working Man
I began reading this book as a follow up from a resource quote. Since then it has been on my library hold several times. Every time I read it I find something I thought I knew but didn’t. It’s a great book to help understand how things can and do work. Read the book!
