    Great deal for the first two installments of Gears, good pre-purchase for 3

    My review may be a bit biased, but I too at one point, had no idea what a "Gears" was, and now I'm on the other side of the spectrum. So maybe not too biased afterall. I will keep it SNS. I love it. It's a Third Person Shooter, so a different type of gameplay. While the story line doesn't get too in-depth, it is a head scratcher to the possibility of "What if?", and an interesting spin on invaders not coming from outer space, but our own Earth! (Emergence Day! Scary!) Back to the gameplay, good handles, melee attacks, frag explosive stick-y option. The world famous Chainsaw bayonet :-) Multiplayer is very competitive online. Very mature graphics. Fun game, lots of hours of good time. A good addition to the Gears foundation is the "Horde" mode, in #2, where you can really get your ...

    5 stars out of punctuation are left back at what this game deserves

    After years without any game that I lose sleep, I got 2 jewels called gears of war 1 and 2, the rawness and fantasy play of the game make an art of union between the old games like unreal tournament along with game strategies as Tom Clancy. Graphic level is impressive along with the soundtrack that if you stop to listen that are more detailed and applied just at the exact moment when they should sound, eliminating the games that are dedicated only to music that is not loop vacuum sound. Of errors for Xbox 360 I found only 1 after 2 months of play, the effect of fire is slow but this effect is always visible when viewed very closely and is well detailed. For the rest I recommend to buy and I'm waiting for the GOW 3 is coming to me xD

    Gears of War Triple Pack

    Incredible value, the first two Gears of War games and everything that has been produced for them since release. Includes all multi-player maps, loads of extra achievements, deleted single-player campaign chapter and all promotional things such as trailers and behind the scenes stuff. If you like Gears of War and want everything so far, or if you haven't gotten into the series yet, then this is definitely a purchase you need to make.

    Classic Xbox 360 Experiences

    Honestly, this is a decent deal. New copies of the first two Gears games and some extra DLC. BUT, seriously, if you have ANY friends who've had a 360 for a few years, they will probably have a copy of both/either that you could borrow. And while DLC is cool... this stuff is YEARS old. You probably should have beaten these games by now. The only reason I bought this was because it was like 4am and I wasn't reading correctly. I thought it was Gears 1, 2, and 3. Heh. But at least I have my own copy now, I guess. :P
