Item is perfect for my grandchild, and I am looking forward to giving it to her as a "just because" gift. It arrived with some very light damage, bent, probably due to rough handling, but not enough to keep me from giving it anyway. I would suggest to the seller that shipping in a flimsy bag might not be the best option, as it generally leads to items arriving with marring and blemishes.

    Kumihimo book

    If you are into braiding and incorporating beads and embellishments into it, then this may be the book for you. For myself I am more into laying out the colors to get different patterns in the braid itself, without all the extra stuff on it. This is a very nice book, but not quite what I was looking for. LOL I am too much of a tomboy and not so much into all the frills and frippery. I like doing designs that speak for themselves in horse gear, belts, straps and other 'heavy' usage gear. I might incorporate a few small bells into horse gear, but thats about it. There are some beatiful designs in it for necklaces and possibly light handbag handles/straps, but not much that I would consider useful for my taste and life-style. Signed Active Outdoorsy Grandma

    Great book for beginners and also more advanced braiders

    This is a wonderful book with lots of information and color pictures to lead you step by step in creating a wide assortment of beautiful projects. Many interesting techniques to make your finished project look professionally made and lovely. The projects incorporating beads are especially beautiful and give great ideas for making your own one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Love this book!!

    Great book

    I really like this book. The instructions are clear & concise and EASY. There are so many different projects to choose from. I even managed to expand on one of them - using more cords. I highly recommend this book.

    Great "How-To" Book with Fun Project Ideas

    This book has very detailed instructions on a variety of kumihimo braids. The bonus braid wheel inserted into the cover is nice for beginners but it doesn't degrade the cover if you use it or not. The instructions are very clear and the illustrations help a lot.
