Can you imagine a sci-fi flick without special effects?
No spoilers here--not even a plot description, just admiration. I rented this DVD and liked it so much that I purchased my own copy on eBay. It's a very low budget work of love, shot in just a few days. It was produced by the son of an accomplished screenwriter for TV shows such as Twilight Zone and Star Trek based on a script that took decades to write--it was actually completed on the writer's deathbed. It's a great example of how good storytelling can be just as engaging as millions of dollars worth of computer generated images--much more engaging than so many films that try to substitute CGI for a good script. I'm glad I bought this DVD because I've now shown it to many people and all have enjoyed it. Without leaving the confines of a small cabin, the group of people in this film have ... Teachings in the Bible...Food for Thought
This movie opens the door to believers and non-believers alike raising questions about the validation of the Holy Bible. The movies flows with anticipation of what John Oldman will reveal next. A must see for those who study the Bible. As my views on the Bible have changed after an extensive reading taking two and half years researching dates, characters and mythology, this movie confirmed what my evaluation of the Bible is. I have purchased three DVD's to share with others. I would recommend this movie.This movie opens the door to believers and non-believers alike raising questions about the validation of the Holy Bible. Skeptical
The cost of the DVD was acceptable,the idea of such a possibility was over-reaching science as we understand the ageing of cells. The acting was bearable, however only a socio-path could live through centuries of loss without losing their mind, making the main character theme unbelievable.

Review: The Man From Earth.
I read a lot of positive reviews and it sounded interesting. Nope- really it's just a man reviewing history with some work friends and he claims to have lived through historical events. Of course, the possibility is entertaining & he has an answer for all the grilling questions. I *personally* found the movie to be more about debunking Religion. That's all that I took from this movie & I have no interest in watching it again. 👎👎I read a lot of positive reviews and it sounded interesting.
