Incredible value on a hard-to find item.What a great price.
I have this product on VHS. I'm in the process of upgrading my movie collection. Though this is an older episode, the disk plays great. I was thrilled to find this episode of Star Trek's Space Seed. This is the prequel to Star Trek's second movie, The Wrath of Khan. The episode opens with the Enterprise finding the S.S. Botany Bay, a 20th century Earth "sleeper ship" drifting in space. The leader, Khan is revived and plots to take over the Enterprise. Khan and his followers are genetically engineered with extraordinary mental and physical powers. Do Khan and his followers succeed in their plans? To my knowledge, this is the only Star Trek episode that is directly related to the movie series. The Wrath of Khan starts where Space seed ends. While there, the crew discovers a war raging between Eminiar VII and a nearby planet. This war is fought by computers. Whenever a 'hit" is confirmed, the citizens from both sides march to disintegration machines. This is a good episode, but my interest laid primarily with Space Seed. The only thing I disliked about this product, I would rather have the one episode and if I wanted something else, I would be free to purchase the one I truly desired. Star Trek-Volume 12 is a must have for movie buffs as well as true Star Trek fans. It successfully combines an excellent television episode with a movie series while retaining the original actors.

Good, Basic Star Trek episodes!
I bought this dvd because it had the original Kahn episode, one of the most popular episodes. I bought this, along with some other episodes from the same seller for Christmas for my husband as he loves Star Trek. I had purchased the Wrath of Kahn movie elsewhere and this episode goes nicely with it. We have only watched the one episode so far, but the DVD quality is great, and buying these discs with just two episodes each is a more economical way to go if you don't care to have all the episodes or pay a lot more for a whole season set.I bought this dvd because it had the original Kahn episode, one of the most popular episodes. KHAN, the great prince
Our first glimpse of Khan, the great prince. You'll see the first fight between Kirk and Khan. You'll get to see Khan's very pretty future wife, now you can see why he hated Kirk so very much. Also in this volume, Kirk gets a planet to see the true horrors of war. That war isn't some kind of game, that you fight with computers. A much have for any true Trekkie.

Go where no one has gone before on DVD.

Star Trek - Khan
I ordered this DVD set because it compliments my Star Trek movie trilogy which includes "The Wrath of Khan". I like to show a younger audience how the movie got its genesis with "Space Seed". Very happy with the product.
