    Good DSLR to grow with and good quality photographic results.

    If you want to enter the world of Digital SLR's then you can do no wrong by purchasing one of these cameras. For the normal user 8megapixils is plenty. Just concentrate on taking photographs and experimenting with aperture and shutter speeds. I bought this as backup for my other camera. One thing to remember is as far as I know the IS or VR lenses will not fit the EOS film cameras although the EOS lenses will fit the DSLR's. Plenty of features to keep you happy and is not really heavy. If you buy off ebay try and get as much kit as possible if you have no camera: standard and tele lens and I would not pay more than £300 for any Eos 350D. Budget also if not with the camera for an extra battery and about 2gb compact flash card. After the 350D Canon decided to change the ...

    Low light specialist

    Takes decent pictures under normal conditions, but really comes into its own in low light. At iso 800 or 1600, the photos are sharp, detailed and almost noise free. For available light photography, museums etc where you can't use flash, I would highly recommend this camera. Downside - tiny screen.

    Great little Camera-- Buy one

    I am new to digital photography so when I purchased my used Canon 350d I did not know what to expect. When I took my first photo and loaded it onto my laptop I was amazed by the clarity and sharpness of the image. The camera is smaller than my old film camera but even though I have large hands it is easy to hold and the speed of the shutter also impressed me. All in all I would recommend this camera for anyone who has a keen interest in photography, I have since purchased a used Canon 75-300mm lens which also work fantastic on this camera.

    an excellent well built bit of kit that will last years, worth every penny

    A very good starter camera for those wishing to get onto the dslr without the hassle of a bridge camera. The auto feature takes care of all setting for quick shots and the advanced feature enables you to get more creative shots with a little practice, been a canon, a wide range of lenses are available and numerous compatible ones so suit all budgets. The only dislikes I have is the small-scale lcd screen which make reviewing photos tricky and the size of the camera body as my little finger just hangs from the bottom of the camera, this is easily resolve with a battery grip (sold separately) that attaches to the base providing double the battery life, better grip of the camera and also aids portrait shooting with an additional shutter button.

    Versatile well made DSLR. Excellent value.

    I bought this Canon EOS 350D Camera because I have owned Canon film Cameras in the past and it is a make I trust. I also have some compatible Lenses. I like the versatility of the DSLR format and the quality of the images it can produce. I have found that it takes photographs almost immediately without the delay I have experienced with my previous digital cameras. It is a well designed product from one of the worlds leading manufacturers and I would advise anyone looking to move into the DSLR format to seriously consider it.
