My New Favourite Workout!
I cannot say enough good stuff about this workout! The one and only thing that could be considered even slightly negative is that if you're a total beginner this workout might be too hard for you. But if you've been somewhat active and want to kick it up a notch or if you work out daily and you want a good workout, one that will kick your tush, this one is for you! First of all, it's a great value, because you get a 3 minute warm up, a 25 minute speed interval workout, a 25 minute big muscle group workout, and a 10 or 12 minute abs workout (depending on if you choose beginner/intermediate or advanced ab workout). Each of these can be done alone or with one another, in any order you want, as many times as you want. Last night I did a 3 minute warm up, the 25 minute intervals, the 25 ... Better than any I've done in a long time! The speed interval part is...YIKES! It alternates low cardio (light jogging in place) with high cardio (jumping jacks, fast running in place, etc.) in 30, 45, and 60 second intervals. This is SUCH a good workout in and of itself! After the intervals, I did 25 minutes of the big muscle groups which alternates 8 moves twice through, where you do one exercise (with dumbells, 3, 5, and 8 lbs would probably be best to start for women and maybe up to 10 and 12 for men....?) for 60 seconds each. So, for example, you do biceps curls slowly for 60 straight seconds and then move on to tricep curls for another 60 seconds. This one also includes lunges and squats. Again I was drenched! I think alone it would have been a great workout, let alone with the intervals! And finally I did the 10 minute abs. Next time I'll probably do the advanced version. I found the beg/int. to be a little too easy. Next, the instructor and his workout team....I tend to find many of the instructors and especially their posse to be really annoying and I loved this team! Terry Simpson, the male instructor is a CU-TIE! He's relaxed, down to earth, and VERY easy on the eyes. The two girls in the background are attractive and real, not phony. None of them annoyed me in any way! The workout felt more like a one-on-one personal trainer session than a "class" even with the girls in the background because they were so unintrusive. Finally, the music.....It wasn't until more than halfway through that I even noticed the music and it didn't bother me, which I can't say for many workouts. It made the workout more interesting without being distracting. It was upbeat without being over the top. You MUST get this DVD, whether you're male or female, you'll love it. I'm looking forward to purchasing the Abs Diet Workout I!

Love this DVD
A friend let me borrow this and I gotta say the abs diet is the best work out video I've ever used! It's getting me toned faster then I'd expected and it's so easy to do. You choose how many days of the week you want to work out and just follow the plan they have for you! abs workout
inexpensive way to replace original disc lost when it was accidently left in the TV (with dvd player) which was out dated and turned into the recycling center

PERFECT WORKOUT!
Love this dvd. Easy to follow, saw results in the first 2 weeks. There is a great cardio workout that is so much better than running on the treadmill. The abs workout is great, only takes 10 minutes. You need to get a swiss ball and some handweights to do all of the exercises. Very, very happy with this purchase!
