Tames a Bigsby !!
The main concern I had before getting the Vibramate Spoiler was tone. Would it dampen or mute the tone of the guitar?...would it ever vibrate?...I am happy to tell you I actually like the playability better with the Spoiler than without it. None of my original concerns happened. And...it has sure made finicky string changes a thing of the past. It blends into the looks of the guitar very well too. I was surprised at how small it is and it went on easily. I really believe anyone that has a Bigsby equipped guitar will benefit from getting one of these.The main concern I had before getting the Vibramate Spoiler was tone. Easy restring job
I have been playing for over 50 years. I have tried every vibrato on the market and I always came back to using a Bigsby. The only thing I didn't like about the Bigsby was that it was hard to restring having to bend each string to fit the Bigsby. With the Vibramate spoiler it's a breeze to restring the guitar and it stays in tune afterwards also. Larry

Every Bigsby user needs this
I love the Bigsby, but string changes were always a little more tedious trying to get the string to stay hooked on the pin until you could get some tension on it. And if you were one that preferred a string without the ring end (like Fender Bullets) -- not going to happen. The string spoiler changes all that forever. Attaches to the Bigsby with no fasteners and re-stringing a Bigsby-equipped guitar is a snap. 3 of myguitars have a Bigsby and they all have a String Spoiler.I love the Bigsby, but string changes were always a little more tedious trying to get the string to stay hooked on the pin until you could get some tension on it. Trades a big inconvenience for a smaller one
I bought two of these. The first one I put on my Warmoth Telecaster immediately and found that it doesn't snap on the Bigsby bar as I supposed, it needs the tension from at least one string to hold it in place while you string up the rest. So until you get that first string wound up a bit you're still doing a little juggling act to hold the spoiler on the bar, the string in the spoiler and cranking the tuner while holding the string in position. Now when I put the other spoiler on my Gibson maybe I'll try giving it a little squeeze with pliers to see if that holds it on the bar better. BUT, let me say this issue is nothing compared to the bother of restringing a Bigsby the normal way. The spoiler does what it's supposed to.I bought two of these. A great accessory for a Bigsby vibrato
Great & very easy-to-install device makes string changing on a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece much quicker & easier! Not exactly cheap for a small piece of stamped metal, but worth the money in time and trouble saved.
