À propos de ce produit

Product Information

Embrace the life of a star and take your band on the road with "Guitar Hero World Tour" for the PlayStation 3. Create and share your own rock ballads and anthems with the music studio feature, and enhance your musical career with the redesigned guitar. Featuring master recordings from The Eagles, Van Halen, Linkin Park, and Nirvana, the game allows you to create your own rocker characters that you can customize using tattoos, makeup, and postures inspired from real-life rock legends such as Jimi Hendrix and Ted Nugent. Record and upload your songs to the online service where other players can download and rate them, letting you pave your way to stardom."Guitar Hero World Tour" features a number of great song options. Legendary performers like Korn, the Allman Brothers Band, and Creedence Clearwater Revival make appearances. Rockers like Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde also lend some amazing performances. In career mode, everyone tries to out-jam these legends. Songs like "Eye of the Tiger," "One Way or Another," "The Wind Cries Mary," "Kick out the Jams," and more challenge gaming fans along the way. So whether they're cranking out "On the Road Again," "Go Your Own Way," or "Up Around the Bend," every gamer receives an interesting challenge. Gamers can enjoy "Guitar Hero World Tour" solo or with a group. As music games go, this title utilizes a number of play settings. Career and quickplay modes offer gamers a number of chances to jam out on demand. Since the Guitar Hero games are retro compatible, just about every guitar controller works with every other title. A dongle is necessary for PlayStation 3 owners, so players want to be sure they have one available. PS3, PS4, and other PlayStation owners will need one USB dongle per guitar. A normal PS3 controller is used to play, but players may want to use a dedicated Guitar Hero instrument to have the most fun experience possible. The play consists of gaming operators hitting red, blue, and other colored buttons in perfect rhythm to what is displayed on the screen. Each of the instruments offers up some variety of the red, blue, green, and other buttons to test your skills during each song. "Guitar Hero III" owners love the additional catalog of songs that "World Tour" brings to their arsenal. Since game purchases are the only way to add original songs to a library, users stock up on every title to get more tracks. Activision has taken the live music game world to the next level with "Guitar Hero World Tour." All of the different instruments provide unique challenges. With specific difficulty settings for each of the instruments, PS3 owners are able to keep the band focused regardless of skill levels. While you and your friends are practicing "Band on the Run," "Love Me Two Times," or even "Hail to the Freaks," everyone gets a chance to act like stars.

  • Good Game...

I decided to buy this game because LOVED Guitar Hero 3 and wanted to play a new version that had different songs. This one definitely brings different songs. It features popular and not so well known songs from all over the world! (Hence the name,I guess.) Anyway, this game is pretty fun, just like the other versions before it, but there are some things I don;t like about this game actually.First off,the buttons on the screen appear smaller than the previous versions have had. Didn't like this so much. Second, there aren't that many battles and the ones that are on here are different than the more fun ones on the older games. Third, they didn't put enough well-known songs on here. Was kind of disappointed by that fact. Also, the levels are harder than previous games. If you play on Easy ...

  • Guitar Hero World Tour: Complete Guitar kit.

I was brought into the band game phenomenon with Rock Band 2. I and my family have enjoyed it very much, so when I saw a chance to pick up a spare guitar and Guitar Hero World Tour for 20 dollars on eBay, I jumped at the chance. The game: The game itself has much more readily recognizable tracks then RB2. The graphics also seem to be superior than the competition. For me, that is where the pluses stop. The game is fun to play, but the controls seem to be much tighter and much more unforgiving than RB2, even after using the calibrate feature, which is a must out of the box if you play on a large screen LCD or Plasma. The presentation and whole "band" experience is something that was just slapped into the game play, and their is no real sense of achievement like there is in RB2. Also, the ...

  • Liking what I'm playing!!

I decided to by it because I'm a huge fan of the series, and thought it would be great to play as a band, not just a guitarist. It works well with the Rock Band 2 Drum kit and mic, but the guitar for Rock Band 2 doesn't allow for the solo neck slider bar. You must have the GH: World Tour Drum kit to use the training tutorials and the calibration is off a little too. The songs rock as always, and the other features are a nice addition, but there is a lot to be desired for the hardware (Band Kit & Guitar). But I still give it two sticks up!!!

  • Guitar Hero Band Set

My kids love it completely. There is a chalenge for every skill level. I have 4 kids from 12 to 17 as well as my self and spouse, we all play it and have a great time. The slide bar feature on the guitar is a little tricky to learn but defenently worth it for a chalenge. The vocal part is a little tricky but once you learn the tricks it is good to go. Static is the best choice for options when using the mic. The words and rythem is easier to keep up with. My son cheats and hums to the rythem not sing, he doesn't like his voice. He gets great scors every time. :-) This is a fun family time investment. We are looking into the Beatles and Rock Band games as well to go with this one. Defenently would suggest this purchase.

  • If undecided between rival, Rock Band 2, pick Rock Band

I bought the guitar pack also before this. My guitar strum bar doesn't work from that one and the slide bar strums automatically. I bought this set for the drums and guitar, thinking it was just the individual controller's mistake last time. It works fine, but after maybe a half an hour of having it on, the strum bar strums for you in the game. The drums seem to have sensitivity problems, which can be fixed, but is very frustrating. The game is fun, but some songs seem very long and then at the very end, get hard; now, you've wasted about 6 minutes just to fail it. The presentation and songs, in my opinion, are not up to the standard Rock Band 2 set, especially with the abundance of downloadable content which personalizes the game more than fun, yet low quality song creation. The ...
