It's so BAM
I love this movie, because it is very much what I expected a movie by Bam Margera to be like. Basically the entire Viva la Bam cast is part of the cast, including Jess Margera (Bam's Brother), his parents, pro-skater Tony Hawk, former girl friend Jenn Rivell, and current wife Missy. Crazy and definitely hilarious describe this movie best. "Haggard" could also be described as an extra long commercial for Bam (himself), his passion for skating and skate boards designed by him, the brand Adio, his favorite music, including the bands HIM and CKY. It seems a little low budget, which still adds to the craziness and creates the awareness that the story is not to be taken seriously! I purchased the movie "Haggard" because I am a fan of Bam, his MTV shows (Viva la Bam, Bam's Unholy Union and ... I love this movie, because it is very much what I expected a movie by Bam Margera to be like. This movie is without a doubt one of the most funny, visually stunning, and creative comedies I personally have ever seen. To see all these CKY and Jackass characters take on the role of actors was quite a surprise. Stealing the movie without a doubt was Ryan Dunn. Probaly because the film is based on a turbulant time in his life. Not far behind Dunn is Brandon DiCamillo. Dico is probaly one of the most underrated physical comedians today. Then you have Bam Margera and Joseph Franz. They have put together some of the most breathtaking videos,that are to good for Mtv, out today. With a soundtrack led by the bands HIM and CKY, they could rival any major motion pictures out there. Haggard is HILARIOUS!
Yes it's a "low budget" film, but it has got to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen! Not only is it a great and funny film, but any skater fan would also enjoy it because there is a special appearance by Tony Hawk who plays a small part as a cop, and then of course there are some rad skating vids of Bam Margera ripping it! If you haven't seen it, I suggest you see it NOW! Included in this DVD, there is a special behind the making of which itself alone is hilarious and also has a touching point. There is also a skit/prank to gnarly for Jackass....it's a must see!! Two thumbs up!Yes it's a "low budget" film, but it has got to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen! Haggard the movie by Bam Margera
If you liked CKY, Jackass, ect this movie is pretty good. Very low budget compared to Hollywood but that is common / part of the attraction with these videos. Very funny performances by Ryan Dunn and Don Vito. Very good special features. For the price its worth having and has enough appeal that you want to rewatch from time to time.
