Vinyl LP pressing. 2017 release. Glen Campbell's final studio album Adiós was recorded in 2012 in Nashville in the middle of Glen's Farewell Tour. Produced by Glen's longtime banjo player and friend Carl Jackson, the album features Glen singing four Jimmy Webb songs. Adios features songs written by Roger Miller, Bob Dylan, Dickey Lee, Jerry Reed, Fred Neil, and includes a duet with Willie Nelson - 'Funny How Time Slips Away' - and special guest Vince Gill on harmony vocals in 'Am I All Alone (Or Is It Only Me)'. After being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, Campbell embarked on a 2011-2012 Farewell Tour. After finishing the tour, he entered the studio in Nashville to record a final album. According to his wife, Kim Campbell, he wanted to preserve "what magic was left", in what would be his final recordings.

Sentimental gold
The family and artists have done an outstanding job of honoring the artistic work of Glenn Campbell by bringing together this remembrance of his years of performing. Since he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, the opportunities to hear his music are fewer than in the past and the work they all have done to make this final memory a classic are greatly appreciated. It has the voice, the style, and the instrumental background that has always been so much a part of the Good Time Hour performer. Beautifully artistic, smooth, easy to listen to and some songs, very emotional
I am a Glen Campbell fan from when we were young. His voice has a magical purity and is so wonderful to listen to. This particular cd is one of my favorites because the songs are beautiful and quite unlike his hits of yesteryear. They are smooth, with messages, and more defines what I think the man was like.. I can play this CD anytime of day. I highly recommend it.

Adios - Glen Campbell
This is a great album, by the great Glen Campbell. His final album, in saying "Adios," is a real winner. Features members of his family, Roger Miller, and the great Willie Nelson. A great addition to my vinyl and cd collection of Glen's music!! Love it!!!

Adios to you, old friend, also
At the near end of his life Glen Campbell could still break your heart with his voice. Even diminished by disease, he was still captivating. Plus knowing what is soon to come, makes this whole album both inspiring , as well as heartbreaking.

Brand "New"
I could not love Glen Campbell more...but the CD I received seemed to skip a little and I was disappointed.....maybe that is how they recorded it, I don't know... but for a brand new cd....it didn't sound like one.. ....sorry...
