As in previous games, Mario's friend Yoshi can grab items with his tongue and spit them back at enemies. You can also use his sticky tongue to swing across chasms and reach new areas. New gadgets for Mario include a drill that allows the plucky plumber to bore through a planet's surface to the other side. Each 3D planet offers gravity-specific challenges to overcome, from working upside down to gliding from area to area.     Super Mario Galaxy 2 review

    I think this product is a five star rating because it has good graphics, sound effects, and storyline. The gameplay also works fine and that this game is good for everyone to play including teenagers, and children and some adults can play as well. Some things that are good about the product is that it has good quality and that the player is allowed to save their gaming progress. In the game we are allowed to play in various sections in each level and get to play with friends and family.

    A Good, Not Great, Super Mario Adventure (and better than the first)

    Maybe not quite as compelling as fellow 3D platformers Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Sunshine, this sequel to Super Mario Galaxy is still a brilliant game in it's own right, with gorgeous graphics, charming storytelling and characterization, and genius level design. It does feel slightly more fleshed out than the first while still having the same mind-bending gravity based platforming of the original. The Galaxy games may not have the sense of exploration and discovery of the best 3D Mario games, but they certainly have the same level of fun and ingenuity. Highly recommended!

    Old school Wii gaming at it's best

    One of the best Wii 3D platformer games ever. The 3D planets are unique and innovative. Having said that, this game is from 2010 so... those "innovations" have been surpassed since then. Similarly, the graphics are great but not up to today's expectations. Never the less, it has fun and challenging gameplay. Highly recommended for Wii and Wii U owners.

    Buy it if you couldn't have enough of the first Mario Galaxy. <3

    I give Mario Galaxy 2 a 4/5 only because the story isn&apos;t as creative as the first Mario Galaxy was. In Mario Galaxy, Rosalina would read a story to Mario every 2 completed missions (Getting a Star). Her story was beautiful, and very calming. Sad in a lot of parts, because her mother left to become a Galaxy (Or a giant star I think). So Rosalina waited for her, but noticed she wasn&apos;t coming back after she ventured out into space with a star she befriended she named Luma (CHUBBY STARS ARE SO CUTE...! &lt;3). In Galaxy 2, uhhh... well there isn&apos;t much of a storyline. As usual, Bowser steals peach, she helplessly does nothing to get away AGAIN, Mario takes another journey into space just to rescue her (Every time me and my family play a Mario game we all facepalm, sigh and/or go ...

    Mario Galaxy 2

    Such a fun game! It's is an amazing prequel to Mario Galaxy! The story is similar to the first game but, there's a lot to do. Also, there's a lot to do after you beat the game. Highly recommended game!
