Not new, had someone else's google account and photos on it. Wrong USB cable in the box. After a reset and update, it works fine. The phone, however, is in excellent condition and arrived quickly. If it is refurbished, just say that on the listing. Don't lie about the product condition and double check what is in the package, but everything else was fine.

Unfortunately, as these phones go sometimes (this new, old-stock, Rezound is over 12 years old) this one had a HARDWARE issue. I fully expected it to not be functional as a useable phone but this one had internal issues that couldn't be resolved with software fixes. However, seller worked with me and was in 100% communication and we will have a resolution soon. Very happy with the experience, and the other two NOS phones I purchased are fantastic. Very, very pleased so far. Highly recommended!

Excellent good looking phone with bunch of features, but Skype is BAD!
I used this phone for a few months and I think I can tell some good and bad things about it. I am a HTC consumer for a long time and I like the HTC ONE S design. It's really sleek and with nice protective cover on it, it will still look thin and sexy device. Screen is great, cameras working like a charm too. If you like to shoot like crazy like I do, you will like the video and camera features. Many of my best photos are taken on this phone. Audio is superb compared to other devices on the market. I do have Beats ear buds so I did experienced great sound all the time. Still couldn't make Beats Audio to work with my internet streaming radio apps, but I heard there is a workaround for that. Anyway sound is like you're in the club, and I listen to electronic deep soulful house music with deep ... I used this phone for a few months and I think I can tell some good and bad things about it. Battery life wasn't bad for my taste, I use it a lot so I figured out if it can last whole day - great, and it was. I think the best thing is CPU since phone is flying through menus as it should. Everything that you want, you can do it with this phone, except one thing. You cannot Skype normally, sound is awful! Crackling all the time, cameras? Heh, forget about it, if you're lucky. So, Skype fans - skip it !

amazing phone, great quality build , really thin in fact so thin I had to buy a case so that I could hold it with ease, really sharp and fast camera with amazing HD video recording and stereo sound, screen is beautiful and the cpu makes the phone quite fast. Overall, the phone is amazing for a purchase to anyone.
Pros: The HTC One S is an amazing phone and one of the best on the market as of now. Everything runs smooth and fast thanks to it's powerful processors, RAM, Android 4.0 OS and Super AMOLED display. The display isn't the best on the market BUT it surely is stunning with bright colors and great contrast. The battery life is also pretty amazing too as it's standby time doesn't require too much power thus making power drainage very low; even while you are doing a task on the phone, it's power doesn't drain so quickly compared to other phone's on the market so that's a plus. It runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS which makes the phone stand out from the others in the market as it can do tons more than phones with later versions of Android OS's such as face unlock and people hub. Another feature that I love SO much is the Beats by Dre integration as I love listening to music everyday and the integration feature makes it sound even better. Overall the features, easy of use, and battery life makes the phone amazing for everyone. Cons: The phone is made out of somewhat cheap material. The back of the phone can change to a darker color mostly due to the moisture of your fingers and palms. I have also dropped the phone accidentally over EXTREMELY minor fall distances and I have already started seeing some white spots on the phone appear which makes the color of the phone look tacky. Also I have seen that the back of the phone gets hot quite regularly doing tasks such as playing games or multitasking with several apps at once in general and it becomes EXTREMELY annoying. Having said all that, a case would make a fine investment as a must. Lastly is that the on screen touch keyboard of the phone is HORRIBLE in every way and it's horrible to even ATTEMPT to get used to so you'd have to buy/download a third-party keyboard app from the Google Play Store.

I was looking for asecond smart phone so I needed something not so expensive, old, but still strong enough to be useable. I just got the phone. I t appears to be solid and strong. It is still fast (as for January 2014), and honestly, I have been using the newest cyanogenmod for several months now with the newest rom, 4.4.2, and this appears to be faster. For me, it looks like as the android advance in versions, the phones become slower and slower. The only thing that saves the android is the very fast development of fast cpus: I currently own 2.3 ghz cheap that is not very faster than this HTC with its 4.0.2 android. the camera appears to be good enough. screen is good, and high quality. The preblem is the lack of SD card - WTF? cannot insert my 32gb card full of pictures and films to ... This is a great quality built phone and i would buy it again
Pros: 1. Quality built 2. Nice big screen 3. Really thin Cons: 1. you can't change the battery. Usually batteries in my phones only last 2 years. Its probably going to kill the resell value. 2. can't add my own external storage. 3. HTC Sense is nothing to be desired, but the rom can be changed.
