The forst of the standard features that come with this Zboard gaming keyboard are a pair of bus-powered USB connectors. These are handy when you want to plug in low-voltage devices, like a joystick, a computer mouse, or a memory stick to store your data. Plugging USB connected devices into your Zboard keyboard instead of your computer's hard drive can be handy because it is right beside your hands In addition to the two USB ports, the Zboard ZBD-101 has nine hot keys you can use to perform common computing tasks, like opening your email account, bringing up the calculator, entering the My Computer section of your PC, or selecting a preset file, program, or website. The Zboard has seven multimedia buttons that are used to control entertainment modes like videos and music. The Zboard ZBD-101 is ideally suited for first person shooter and third person shooter games as well as action games. Seller did an poor job packing a keyboard in a thin vanilla bubble wrap envelope, expecting that to be sufficient to protect a $75 item in the mail. Item arrived broken, with cracks in multiple places of the frame. Seller was quick to give a full refund, but the $19 shipping price should have been more than enough for the shipper to properly package the item in a box. The sellers judgement for what is proper packing is poor.

Sturdy with base but could use improvements.
At first I thought the whole keyboard could fold into a square which is perfect for work and home which I wouldnt have to transfer over and over. That was not the case. You also require a base for this keyboard which makes the whole thing thick. Spent 45$ with 3ds Max new. Pros: Great feature of switching keys and modding. Cool way of folding and storing keysets. Great looking decals Gamepad feels great and has support of major games. Cons: Very thick and clunky. Steelseries is the maker but product is plastic. No backlit keys and non ergonomic except for pad. Added pad breaks very easily. Not too good for travel. Keys can stick upon installing. Software takes time to understand. Stopped support for 3DS Max 7 (now its the 2014 over 5 years) Decals for 3DS Max is not bright or easily ... Not sure why they do this when you can acheive the same width or less (foldable and even backlit). Bought the 3ds Max extra 15$ but I would consider the sticker version if compatible. Hopefully the keys last some time. With new tech you can achieve a changeable led keyboard (with fibre mesh as adapters for feedback) which would be the ideal new zboard. Its ideal for learning the new programs(3ds Max) and wish they had a maya version but I would not recommend for gaming type since the red keys are close together and confusing. Other than that its good(placement). If the key sets could only be separated into three and placed wherever that would have been cooler.
