Product Information

Taking the loveable "Big Red Dog" out of the book series for a big-screen adventure, CLIFFORD'S REALLY BIG MOVIE is a feature-length animation starring not only the giant pup but also his owner, Emily Elisabeth, and his pals, Cleo and T-Bone. In this story, Clifford gets his feelings hurt when he hears the Howards talking about the enormous meals he eats. Thinking he can help by paying for some of his own dog food, he sets out on his own, leaving Birdwell Island and taking up with a touring circus. But, homesick and lonely, he eventually returns, only to learn that he was greatly missed and is welcomed back with open arms.

A Cute Big Red Dog Show!
This is a fun movie about Clifford and his friends. Clifford overhears a conversation in which the neighbor asks Emily Elizabeth's dad how he can afford to feed Clifford. Clifford, feeling concerned and worried decides he will join a touring animal circus/show. The act becomes so good, that the animals are asked to perform for a contest. The winner of the contest is to receive a lifetime supply of pet food. In order to get the animal show owner to let Clifford, Cleo and T-Bone join, they must pretend that they are strays. He only takes in strays. In the end, they win the contest, but the sponsor of the contest tricks the animal show owner into signing over Clifford, as a gift for his daughter. Clifford becomes lonely, but is rescued by the other animals. In the end, Emily Elizabeth finds ... This is a fun movie about Clifford and his friends. The friendship between Clifford, Cleo, is one of character and loyalty. The bond between Clifford and Emily Elizabeth is cemented with love. The show teaches positive values as well as showing that running away isn't always the best way to handle a problem. I recommend the movie, watch it with a child you love. The DVD version includes a memorial statement to John Ritter, the voice of Clifford (who died shortly after the show was completed).

My three year old is really into Clifford. So I decided to buy the Clifford movie, thought it'd be neat. The graphics were real nice. I hate the music. The story line is OK, some of the characters WAY cheesy. However my little girl liked it and is always pretending she has tummy yummies. But when I bought her the classic Clifford's, Growing Up with Clifford and Clifford Detectives, she lost all interest in this one. Stick with the classics.My three year old is really into Clifford. So I decided to buy the Clifford movie, thought it'd be neat. The graphics were real nice. I hate the music. The story line is OK, some of the characters WAY cheesy. However my little girl liked it and is always pretending she has tummy yummies. But when I bought her the classic Clifford's, Growing Up with Clifford and Clifford Detectives, she lost all interest in this one. Stick with the classics.

good, positive entertainment for kids
A fun movie to watch with the kiddies. I'm glad it was done before John Ritter's death, another voice for Clifford would have been a big mistake. The animation is quite a bit different than what you're probably used to on TV, which is itself different from the illustrations in the books, but the important stuff, like characters and story, are still just as good. Great entertainment for the kids, with a positive life lesson for good measure. If your kids like Clifford, you'd definitely be happy to have them watch this.A fun movie to watch with the kiddies. Definitely worth watching!
I bought Clifford's Really Big Movie for my son because he loves the Clifford cartoons on PBS Kids. I was really pleased with the movie, and my son and his friends love it. It has a really good story line, and it is hard to find clean and innocent movies anymore. I recommend this movie.

Clifford's Really BIg Movie (2004)
I bought this dvd for my first grade classroom. My students watched it when they earned a reward last week. They really like it. Clifford is always a big hit with young children. I bought it because it was such a good price.
