Fun for fans
Classic Dr. Who with the best Doctor, Tom Baker. Complete with the trademark hokey special effects, this is a joy to watch. As in all of the Dr. Who stories, the characters are interesting and well developed. This is a refreshing change from many modern sci-fi shows and movies. Pure fun for old fans and those just learning about the good Doctor. The Doctor and his companion, Leela, land near a remote lighthouse that is having trouble with its "newfangled" electrical system and is enveloped in a thick fog that came out of nowhere. No one yet connects this to the fireball one of the lighthouse keepers saw crash into the ocean just before the strangely cold fog moved in. As usual, just as the Doctor arrives trouble starts in the form of the mysterious death of one of the lighthouse ... Classic Dr. Who with the best Doctor, Tom Baker. The body count rises, plots and counterplots unfold, and the Doctor is left to save the day, as well as the planet, from an invading horde of aliens. Bring on the popcorn and turn down the lights! Yeah Doctor!

A classic Dr Who adventure
This one has all the elements of the classic tale, and features Tom Baker (the fourth doctor) dealing with hysterical and intractable Britons as well as a relentless hostile alien presence. The result is a modern equivalent to a Shakespearian tragedy in which we watch mankind destroying himself through his own folly. A Time Lord, of course, can rise above this (mostly.)

Horror of Fang Rock - A classic Doctor Who episode
Excellent, a truly classic episode. With unique characters given incredible life and depth by a superbly selected cast. Also the unique setting of the lighthouse is almost another character in how it helps to shape and define the story. Tom Baker’s performance once again proves the brilliance of this master thespian. The performance given by Louise Jameson as Leela is a delight and especially good are her character’s interactions with the character of Adelaide Lessage played by Annette Woollett. A particularly enjoyable time overall.Excellent, a truly classic episode. With unique characters given incredible life and depth by a superbly selected cast. Doctor Who, Part of the Tom Baker Collection.
