    True Italian Food Heritage

    "The Arthur Avenue Cookbook" is so beautifully done, it is hard to put down. It is so much more than a cookbook. It is a history of Italian food in America. It has beautiful pictures of Italian products and the stories of the people who have for generations sold these hand made foods. It captures the essence of how Italians feel about their food and how certain items have been made the same way for generations, such as fresh mozzarella, beautiful pastries, home-made pastas and more. Family histories of the store keepers is given as well as recipes to some of the most loved dishes. We get a behind the scenes look as food is prepared and served through stunning pictures. The names and numbers to all the establishments is listed as well as an easy to read map. Get ready to take the book ...

    AUTHENTIC Italian cooking

    I love this cookbook because it includes some of the recipes that my own family has enjoyed for generations but no one ever wrote anything down so the outcome was never consistent...until now! Now I can recreate some of these wonderful recipes, surprising my mother and father with dishes that they haven't had in many years and expanding my children's taste for Italian food other than pizza and macaroni and meatballs!. Having been to many of the establishments mentioned in the book, it's fun to read about them. I highly recommend this book!

    Authur Avenue Cookbook

    The Authur Avenue Cookbook has got to be one of the greatest cookbooks out there for New York Italian cuisine. There are many great recipes from one of the most famous areas of New York. If you are into finding some of the best Italian recipes then I highly recommend this cookbook. I was glad to have been watching The Food Network one evening when they were showcasing the Authur Avenue area and they made mention of the cookbook. After viewing the show I immediately went on eBay and began to search for this cookbook. I knew this was a must have and am glad to have been able to find it. BMRBILL

    Awesome seller! Lightning fast shipping, great product!

    I first saw an episode about Arthur Avenue on Food Network. Then I saw that there was a book with recipes that was published about it. It's a fantastic book with great recipes handed down from generations. Tons of pictures with map of Arthur Avenue. Definitely recommend this book to anyone that likes to cook.
